Review and trim your recording

Ready to record?

Review these tips, check your script, then hit Continue to record. You can do this!

  • Film outdoors where possible

Ideally next to the thing you're talking about. Avoid filming with a bright light behind you, especially indoors.

  • Hold your phone vertically

As if you are video calling someone. Hold the phone slightly above eye level, so you can see your full face and nothing is cut off.

  • Avoid loud places

Normal street noise is ok, but avoid strong wind, fast traffic and echoey rooms. If it's windy, film beside a wall or inside a parked car.

  • Don't worry if you're nervous!

Filming a video can be daunting, but remember – practice makes perfect. The more videos you do, the more natural you will feel.
